Silky Zubat Large Teeth Pruning Saw

The Silky Zubat Large Teeth Pruning Saw is a versatile curved hand saw designed for general pruning across a wide range of branch sizes. Widely used by professionals and serious amateur gardeners alike, it offers powerful cutting performance combined with excellent control. Its curved blade design makes it particularly effective when working in awkward positions, allowing efficient cutting while maintaining a natural arm and wrist posture.

Curved blade for efficient, controlled pruning

The standard curved blade shape allows the saw to stay engaged in the cut, especially when working above shoulder height or below knee level. This design helps the blade sit securely in the kerf, improving control and reducing effort during each pull stroke. The full tang construction contributes to excellent balance, making the saw stable and predictable during both light pruning and heavier cutting tasks.

Large teeth for fast cutting performance

The Zubat Large Teeth Pruning Saw features a tooth pattern of 7.5 teeth per 30 mm, providing an effective balance between cutting speed and finish. Manufactured from authentic premium Japanese steel, the blade delivers strong cutting performance and long-lasting sharpness. While the blade is not re-sharpenable, it is designed to be replaceable, allowing the saw to remain in service over extended use.

Comfortable handling and practical scabbard design

The rubber-moulded handle sits comfortably in the hand and absorbs vibration, supporting prolonged use with reduced fatigue. The saw is supplied with a new style scabbard that includes an opening at the bottom to allow moisture and sawdust to escape, helping keep the blade dry during storage. To maintain cutting efficiency, the blade should be kept clean, with olive oil recommended for removing resin build-up. When not in use, the saw should be dried and stored in its scabbard.
