Widely trusted by skilled arborists and experienced users, it delivers controlled cutting with minimal effort. Its straight blade profile makes it particularly effective in tight spaces, close to the ground, and during technical pruning where accuracy is essential. Straight blade for precision and control The straight blade design allows for cleaner, more precise cuts compared to curved blades, supporting healthy regrowth after pruning. This makes the Gomtaro especially well suited to formative pruning in the early years of a tree’s development. It is also commonly recommended when removing a tree crown or creating a controlled felling cut, as the straight blade helps maintain a clean, straight back cut while managing hinge wood accurately. Efficient cutting with reduced effort The large tooth configuration is designed to cut smoothly through medium to large branches with minimal physical effort. The pull-saw action allows efficient cutting without the need for excessive force, making it a practical alternative to a chainsaw in many situations. This efficiency is particularly valuable when climbing, working one-handed, or operating in environments where powered tools are not practical. Comfortable handling and secure carry The rubber-cast handle sits comfortably in the hand and absorbs vibration, helping reduce fatigue during prolonged use. The saw is well balanced, supporting natural arm movement even when working in awkward climbing positions. A durable black polypropylene holster is supplied, designed to retain the saw securely while allowing one-handed removal when needed. The holster can be attached to a belt or leg strap, keeping the saw within easy reach at all times.
