Built as a practical pocket-sized tool, it offers dependable cutting performance in a simple, cost-effective format. Its folding design makes it easy to carry and store, while still delivering the cutting quality expected from Silky saws. Lightweight saw for everyday pruning The F180 is aimed at general garden maintenance and light outdoor work, making it suitable for pruning shrubs, small branches, and routine cutting tasks. The 180 mm blade length provides a good balance between reach and control, allowing accurate cuts without feeling bulky. Its large tooth configuration supports efficient cutting on wood encountered in garden environments. Secure handling and flexible cutting positions The blade locks into two positions, including a flush cutting option that is useful when working close to stems or in tighter spaces. The handle is constructed from fibreglass polypropylene and includes a rubber insert, providing a comfortable and secure grip during use. This combination supports confident handling, even when applying greater force on the pull stroke. Replaceable blade and straightforward maintenance The blade on the F180 is not designed to be sharpened, but it can be easily replaced when worn. Blade changes require loosening just one screw, keeping maintenance quick and simple. To maintain cutting efficiency, the blade should be kept clean, with olive oil recommended for removing resin build-up as a more environmentally friendly cleaning option.
