It straps directly to the calf using adjustable Velcro straps, keeping the saw close to the body and easily accessible during climbing and pruning tasks. The design focuses on adaptability, comfort, and controlled retention of the saw in a wide range of working positions. Adjustable calf-mounted carrying system The Velcrofit holster attaches to the calf using adjustable Velcro straps, allowing it to be adapted to different leg sizes. It is designed to fit all calf shapes while maintaining a stable position during movement in the tree. This leg-mounted configuration helps keep the saw clear of other equipment while ensuring it remains within easy reach when needed. Compatibility with different saw types and lengths The holster adjusts to suit both curved and straight hand saws, offering flexibility for different pruning preferences. It is compatible with hand saws up to a maximum length of 330 mm, allowing it to be used with many common arborist pruning saws. This adaptability makes it suitable for a wide range of tree care applications without the need for different holsters. Optional magnet retention for added security The Velcrofit holster includes a small integrated pocket designed to hold an optional magnet, which can be added to improve saw retention. When a magnet is installed in this pocket, it helps keep the saw securely seated in the holster regardless of body position, reducing the risk of accidental release while moving in the tree. The magnet is not included and is sold separately, allowing users to choose whether to add this feature.
