ABUS Spector Arborist Helmet Combo - 31SNR Ear Defenders and Tinted Visor

ABUS Spector Arborist Helmet Combo - 31SNR Ear Defenders and Tinted Visor

The ABUS Spector Arborist Helmet Combo combines a ventilated safety climbing helmet, 31dB SNR ear defenders and a tinted polycarbonate half visor in one professional protective equipment package. Designed for arborists, forestry workers and tree care professionals, this combination provides head, hearing and eye protection for demanding working environments, with adjustable components for comfort and a secure fit.

ABUS Spector Ventilated Safety Climbing Helmet

The ABUS Spector helmet features a robust ABS outer shell and EPS inner shell designed to provide impact protection during professional work at height. Its deep neck area offers additional coverage, while protection against lateral deformation provides further protection in demanding working conditions.

Honeycomb ventilation openings and a deep ventilation channel promote airflow around the head, supported by soft, breathable internal padding. The EasyFlex 360° adjustment system includes a micrometric rear adjustment wheel, multi-stage height adjustment and a supportive rear headrest for a comfortable, secure fit.

Interchangeable chin strap buckles allow the helmet to be configured for different applications. The black fastener is used for the EN 397 configuration, while the red fastener is used for the EN 12492 configuration.

ABUS 31SNR Helmet Mounted Ear Defenders

The included ABUS Spector/Scator ear defenders provide an SNR noise reduction rating of 31dB, making them suitable for noisy forestry, arboricultural and wood processing environments. Certified to DIN EN 352-3, they offer high-frequency attenuation of 35dB, medium-frequency attenuation of 29dB and low-frequency attenuation of 22dB.

The ear defenders attach directly to the helmet's 30mm Euroslot mounting system. Stepless length adjustment and 360° rotating positioning allow them to be adjusted to the wearer, while soft, wide memory foam padding helps maintain comfort during extended periods of use.

The ear defenders are certified for use with compatible ABUS helmets in medium and large sizes. They are not certified in combination with small helmet sizes.

ABUS Spector Tinted Half Visor

The ABUS Spector Tinted Half Visor provides eye protection against mechanical hazards, impacts, dust, splinters and other foreign objects encountered during professional tree care, forestry and outdoor maintenance work. Its tinted lens offers an alternative to a clear visor for working in brighter outdoor conditions.

Manufactured from robust polycarbonate, the visor features a scratch-resistant and abrasion-resistant outer surface, together with an anti-fog inner surface designed to maintain visibility during use. The lens provides high impact resistance, including at extreme temperatures, while also offering protection from wind and rain.

Its wide-angle design maintains a broad field of vision and can be worn over prescription glasses. Individual height adjustment allows the visor to be positioned comfortably without unnecessarily restricting movement.

The visor is Optical Class 1 and conforms to EN 166. It is supplied with the required mounting adapters and uses a push-button attachment system for straightforward installation.

Integrated Protection for Arborist and Forestry Work

The ABUS Spector helmet features a modular accessory system with 30mm Euroslot mounting points, allowing the ear defenders and tinted half visor to be fitted together. Separate accessory mounting slots enable both components to be used simultaneously without interfering with their adjustment.

This combination is particularly suitable for arborists and forestry professionals who require head protection, hearing protection and a tinted eye shield during outdoor work. The helmet's ventilation system, adjustable fit and compatible accessories make it suitable for a range of ground-based and work-at-height applications, subject to the relevant risk assessment and helmet configuration.
