The ABUS Spector Arborist Helmet Combo combines a ventilated safety climbing helmet, 31dB SNR ear defenders and a full face mesh visor in one professional protective equipment package. Designed for arborists, forestry workers and tree care professionals, this combination provides head, hearing and face protection for demanding working environments, with adjustable components for comfort and a secure fit.

ABUS Spector Ventilated Safety Climbing Helmet

The ABUS Spector helmet features a robust ABS outer shell and EPS inner shell designed to provide impact protection during professional work at height. Its deep neck area offers additional coverage, while protection against lateral deformation provides further support in demanding working conditions.

Honeycomb ventilation openings and a deep ventilation channel promote airflow around the head, supported by soft, breathable internal padding. The EasyFlex 360° adjustment system includes a micrometric rear adjustment wheel, multi-stage height adjustment and a supportive rear headrest for a comfortable, secure fit.

Interchangeable chin strap buckles allow the helmet to be configured for different applications. The black fastener is used for the EN 397 configuration, while the red fastener is used for the EN 12492 configuration.

ABUS 31SNR Helmet Mounted Ear Defenders

The included ABUS Spector/Scator ear defenders provide an SNR noise reduction rating of 31dB, making them suitable for noisy forestry, arboricultural and wood processing environments. Certified to DIN EN 352-3, they offer high-frequency attenuation of 35dB, medium-frequency attenuation of 29dB and low-frequency attenuation of 22dB.

The ear defenders attach directly to the helmet's 30mm Euroslot mounting system. Stepless length adjustment and 360° rotating positioning allow them to be adjusted to the wearer, while soft, wide memory foam padding helps maintain comfort during extended periods of use.

The ear defenders are certified for use with compatible ABUS helmets in medium and large sizes. They are not certified in combination with small helmet sizes.

ABUS Spector Full Face Mesh Visor

The ABUS Spector Full Face Mesh Visor provides extensive eye and face coverage against mechanical hazards and flying debris encountered during forestry, tree maintenance and vegetation clearance work. Manufactured from rustproof metal mesh with a reinforced frame, it combines practical protection with ventilation and a wide field of vision.

The mesh construction allows airflow around the face, making it suitable for physically demanding outdoor work. The visor can also be worn over prescription glasses and features individual height adjustment for comfortable positioning.

Certified to CE ISO 16321-3:2021, the visor is supplied with the required adapters and uses a push-button mounting system. Its modular design allows it to be fitted alongside the included helmet-mounted ear defenders.

Integrated Protection for Arborist and Forestry Work

The ABUS Spector helmet features a modular accessory system with 30mm Euroslot mounting points, allowing the ear defenders and mesh visor to be fitted together. This provides a practical combination of protective equipment for professional tree care, forestry, wood processing and grounds maintenance.

Each component can be adjusted to suit the wearer, helping maintain comfort and usability throughout the working day. The helmet's ventilation system, adjustable fit and compatible accessories make the combination suitable for a range of ground-based and work-at-height applications, subject to the relevant risk assessment and helmet configuration.
