The Stihl MSA 300 Cordless Chainsaw is designed for demanding professional use and is the most powerful cordless chainsaw in the Stihl range. Supplied as a tool only without battery or charger, it is built for applications such as felling, delimbing and cutting to length. With performance equivalent to the MS 261 C-M petrol chainsaw, it delivers strong and consistent cutting power while maintaining the advantages of cordless operation.

High Performance and Adjustable Cutting Power

The MSA 300 delivers full electrical power of 3.0 kW when used with the AP 500 S battery. It features three selectable operating modes to support different applications, allowing users to optimise battery efficiency and cutting performance. The adjustable chain speed can be set to 20 m/s, 24 m/s or 30 m/s, providing flexibility depending on the task. When combined with the Light 04 guide bar and .325" RS Pro saw chain, it offers strong cutting performance with reduced weight.

Ergonomic Design and User Control

Designed for comfortable use over extended periods, the MSA 300 features a compact and balanced construction along with the Stihl anti-vibration system. The control lever allows infinitely variable speed adjustment, supporting precise control during cutting. A large LED display provides clear feedback on important information such as chain brake position and power setting, allowing intuitive operation throughout use.

Durable Construction and Practical Features

The MSA 300 includes integrated cooling air filters to help keep internal components clean ands cool during operation. A transparent oil tank allows quick monitoring of chain oil levels, while the adjustable oil pump supports efficient lubrication. The tool is IPX4 rated, allowing use in all weather conditions, and includes a mounting point for the Stihl Smart Connector 2 A for data tracking and monitoring.
