The Stihl MSA 220.1 TC-O Cordless Chainsaw is a lightweight top-handle chainsaw designed for professional use in tree care. Supplied as a tool only without battery or charger, it is built for tasks such as removing pieces of trunk, crown correction, and removing dead wood. As the most powerful cordless top-handle chainsaw in the Stihl range, it delivers high cutting performance while maintaining a compact and balanced design for use in demanding environments.

High Cutting Performance and Power Control

The MSA 220.1 TC-O delivers a standard output of 1.25 kW, with Power Boost technology allowing it to draw up to 1.8 kW from the battery when required. It also offers 10% more torque compared to the previous model, supporting efficient cutting across a range of applications. Fitted with a 1.3 mm 3/8” P PS3 saw chain and Light P04 guide bar, it provides strong and consistent cutting performance for professional arborist work.

Intuitive Operation and Smart Features

An LED display provides clear information on operating status and chain brake position, while the integrated oil sensor gives a warning when chain oil levels are low. The electronic trigger system with unlock button allows simple activation and easy operation. Side-mounted chain tensioning enables quick and secure adjustment, and the tool-free oil tank cap supports efficient maintenance during use.

Designed for comfort during extended use, the MSA 220.1 TC-O features a compact and balanced construction. When used with the AP 300 S battery, it counterbalances the guide bar for improved control and reduced wrist strain.
