The RC2001 is designed to be mounted using a dedicated ratchet strap, with a backed-up choked sling used at the base anchor point for additional security. The top attachment point allows the unit to be suspended during installation, making positioning and fixing manageable for one operator. This setup supports consistent placement and reliable anchoring during medium-duty rigging tasks.

Controlled rope handling for higher working loads

Sharing the same 76 mm drum diameter as the RC2000, the RC2001 supports the use of larger working ropes and controlled lowering under higher loads. It accommodates ropes up to 16 mm in diameter and features angled rope guide bars that help manage rope flow around the bollard. With a working load limit of up to 2000 kg, subject to mounting type, it is well suited to controlled lowering in demanding but appropriate applications.

Durable construction and system compatibility

Weighing 5.1 kg, or 5.8 kg when fitted with protection rubbers, the RC2001 offers a balance of strength and manageable handling. Its zinc plated and powder coated finish supports durability during regular site use. With overall dimensions of 185 mm by 185 mm and a height of 325 mm, it remains compact on the stem while providing compatibility with the RC-3100 pre-tension pulley for expanded system use.
