The FTC SRT Neck Loop is a lightweight accessory designed to support efficient single rope technique climbing by keeping a chest ascender upright and under consistent tension. Developed for use with common chest ascenders such as the Croll or Lov2, it helps maintain correct device orientation during ascent. The elastic, adjustable design allows quick fitting without removing the helmet, supporting smooth workflow during professional tree climbing.

Maintains ascender position during SRT

The neck loop is intended to hold a chest ascender in an upright position and maintain tension while climbing on a single rope. By stabilising the ascender against the body, it supports reliable rope engagement and reduces unwanted movement during progression. This function helps create a more consistent climbing rhythm without interfering with the main climbing system.

Comfort-focused elastic construction

The loop is made from a flat elastic band measuring 25 mm in width, designed to sit comfortably around the neck. One side features a breathable black surface for improved comfort during prolonged use. The band is manufactured from a polyester and cotton blend, balancing flexibility with durability while remaining compact and unobtrusive during climbing.

Adjustable fit with supplied connector

A plastic adjustment buckle allows the loop length to be set precisely for different body sizes and clothing layers. The system fits a wide range of users and is described as easy to put on without removing a helmet. A carabiner is supplied with the loop, measuring 80 mm in length and offering a minimum breaking strength of 12 kN. The carabiner does not include a locking mechanism and is intended for accessory use within the system.
