The FTC NATE Foot Loop is designed for arborists who want to improve ascent efficiency while reducing physical strain during long working days. Developed as part of the NATE range, it focuses on comfort, precise adjustment, and smooth movement without compromising on lightness or durability. This product is supplied as a replacement foot loop only and does not include a chest harness.

Ascent Efficiency and Ergonomic Support

The NATE Foot Loop is engineered to support a more fluid and upright climbing posture during ascent. When used within a compatible system, downward pressure on the foot loop helps distribute tension through the harness structure, supporting the torso and reducing the effort required to move upward. This design helps limit fatigue and promotes smoother, more efficient movement throughout repeated climbs.

Adjustment, Elastic Design, and Compatibility

Designed to be compact and lightweight, the foot loop weighs approximately 86 g, making it well suited to daily professional use. It is compatible with most chest ascenders on the market, including models similar in design to the Croll, and can be adapted to fit a wide range of footwear. Two adjustment points on the upper and lower sections allow for a precise fit. The specially engineered elastic provides ideal tension, combining a short length with a dynamic spring effect that helps the ascender move back up smoothly during ascent.

Materials, Dimensions, and Replacement Use

The foot loop is constructed using a polyester strap combined with rubber components and stainless steel adjustment buckles, offering a balance of durability and controlled flexibility. The unslackened length measures 65 cm, extending to 105 cm when slackened, allowing adaptation to different climber preferences and setups. This item is supplied as a replacement foot loop only and is intended for use with an existing compatible chest harness, which is not included.
