The Croll is specifically designed to be used in conjunction with a BASIC or ASCENSION handled ascender, forming a reliable system for rope ascents. The lower attachment hole is angled to keep the device flat against the body, helping maintain correct alignment and efficient rope tracking during movement. This positioning supports smooth, energy-efficient progress on the rope.

Secure positioning and simple operation

An upper attachment hole allows the connection of a TORSE shoulder strap, which helps keep the ascender correctly positioned on the chest throughout the ascent. The cam catch is opened by a simple pinching action, allowing quick and intuitive manipulation when installing or removing the device from the rope. This straightforward handling supports confident use in demanding working environments.

Reinforced construction for durability and reliability

The Croll features a stainless steel wear plate that reinforces the rope friction zone, improving durability during repeated use. A stainless steel cam offers increased resistance to corrosion, while the toothed cam includes a self-cleaning slot that maintains performance even on muddy or frozen ropes. Compatible with ropes from 8 to 11 mm in diameter, the ascender weighs just 85 g, making it suitable for intensive and prolonged use.
