Its oval shape makes it particularly effective in applications where multiple connectors, slings, ropes, or pulleys are used together. Built from steel for strength and longevity, it is suited to professional environments where reliability and predictable behaviour are essential. Oval shape for stable and balanced connections The symmetrical oval basket is designed to centralise loads, helping connectors, slings, and pulleys sit naturally in the strongest position. This reduces the movement and sudden shifting often associated with D shaped connectors when systems are weighted. By allowing connection points to self-centre, the oval shape supports smoother load transitions and helps avoid the abrupt clicking or jumping that can occur during use. Versatile performance across multiple applications Oval steel connectors are widely used in rope access and tree care where complex systems require multiple attachments. This carabiner is equally suited to fall arrest setups or pre-rigged rescue systems, where predictable orientation and ease of system management are important. The symmetrical design means the connector sits comfortably either way round, removing the need for rotation within the system during setup or use. Locksafe gate for secure professional use The 3 Way Locksafe gate features an auto-locking mechanism that requires three distinct actions to open, helping reduce the risk of accidental gate opening. With a gate opening of 18 mm, it balances secure locking with practical clipping. The carabiner measures 56 x 106 mm, weighs 189 g, and offers a major axis strength of 30 kN, with 12 kN on the minor axis and 10 kN with the gate open. It conforms to EN 362:2004 B.
