The DMM Ultra O Locksafe 3 Way Carabiner 3 Pack brings together three symmetrical oval connectors designed for stable, predictable loading in professional rope systems. The Ultra O design supports smooth system behaviour when used with assisted braking devices, pulleys, swivels, and shackles.

Symmetrical oval shape for stable loading

The oval profile provides symmetrical rope baskets that allow attached components to self-centre under load. This characteristic supports stable loading with minimal movement, reducing the likelihood of sudden shifts during operation. The round basket shape helps avoid the abrupt clicking often associated with D-shaped connectors, contributing to calmer, more predictable system behaviour in both tree care and rope access environments.

Versatile use across rope access and rescue systems

Oval connectors are widely used where multiple connectors, slings, ropes, or pulleys need to be managed within a single connection point. The Ultra O sits comfortably either way round, meaning rotation within systems is not required. This makes it suitable for fall arrest situations and pre-rigged rescue systems, as well as everyday climbing and rigging setups where clean alignment and balance are important.

Secure locking with snag free connections

The clean nose uses DMM’s patented Taperlock closing mechanism, which employs a flared profile to increase gate push-in and cross gate strength while maintaining snag free connections. The Locksafe auto-locking gate requires three distinct actions to open, providing a high level of security during use. Each carabiner offers 25 kN major axis strength, 12 kN minor axis strength, and 7 kN gate open strength, with a 19 mm gate opening to support controlled clipping.
