The Turboknee is equipped with the Turbochest rope clamp, which features two integrated rollers designed to improve climbing efficiency. These rollers support a much smoother upward glide on the rope, helping reduce friction and resistance during progression. This design supports consistent movement during ascent, allowing climbers to maintain momentum and reduce fatigue when climbing on single rope systems.

Adjustable foot-loop and responsive progression

The foot-loop is constructed from robust 4 mm cord and is fully adjustable in length, allowing users to fine-tune fit and positioning to suit their climbing style. A high-quality bungee cord provides immediate reaction during progression, helping keep the system engaged and responsive as the climber moves. This responsive behaviour supports efficient energy transfer and smooth step cycles throughout the ascent.

Flexible integration with tree climbing harnesses

The bungee cord can be installed into the dedicated routing points found on the chest parts of the Tree Access SRT Chest and Tree Access XT harnesses. It can also be rigged to other tree climbing harnesses, offering flexibility across different setups. The Turboknee System is designed strictly as a climbing aid to support upward progression and must never be used for life safety or fall protection functions.
