The ART SpiderJack 3 is a multifunctional, self-blocking rope control device designed for use on a running double rope system. The rope runs directly in front of the climber, allowing comfortable one-handed or hand-over-hand feeding into the device. Smooth handling and precise speed regulation make it suitable for efficient and controlled movement in the tree.

Smooth control with secure locking function

To descend, the device is turned into the releasing position and the thumb brake is pressed, requiring minimal force. This allows easy speed regulation and controlled operation. The SpiderJack 3 also features a secured locking position function, providing additional safety while working.

Integrated swivel and pulley for improved efficiency

The integrated swivel keeps the device aligned in the optimum direction at all times. A pulley positioned under the body absorbs pull force from a deflected rope directly into the device rather than the climber’s hand. The cam cannot be positioned incorrectly, and a large replaceable wearing pin inside the rope channel supports long-term use.

Robust stainless steel construction

The frame is manufactured from high-quality stainless steel, offering strength and durability even under high stress. The SpiderJack 3 is certified according to EN 358 and is approved for use with a second person during rescue. It is suitable for left and right-handed users and comes with three clutches (A, B and C) for ropes with diameters from 11 to 14 mm.
