Known for its refined handling and consistent performance, Tachyon has become one of the most widely used 24 strand climbing ropes in professional tree care. This version features a spLIFE termination, providing a professionally finished eye for efficient and compliant climbing setups. Optimised for modern climbing systems Tachyon is designed to work effectively with contemporary climbing hardware, supporting smooth movement during ascent, descent, and work positioning. The 11.5 mm diameter provides a confident grip while remaining compatible with standard hardware. This balance supports efficient movement and control during extended climbing sessions. Firm yet flexible rope construction This climbing rope uses a polyester cover combined with a polyamide inner core to create a firm yet flexible structure. The cover supports consistent handling without excessive softness, while the core helps maintain a stable diameter when loaded. With a weight of 94 g per metre, the rope balances durability with manageable handling. Controlled stretch and dependable performance Tachyon delivers low stretch at lower loads to reduce bounce while climbing, alongside increased stretch at higher loads to help minimise shock. This combination supports predictable rope behaviour during movement and positioning. Certified to recognised standards, it is suited to professional arborist use.
