Teufelberger Tachyon 11.5mm Climbing Rope - Green / White / Black - No Splice

The Teufelberger Tachyon 11.5mm Climbing Rope in Green, White and Black is a widely trusted arborist rope designed for compatibility with both modern mechanical devices and traditional climbing systems. It delivers consistent handling and reliable performance, making it a popular choice for professional tree care work where control and efficiency are essential.

Optimised for Modern Climbing Systems

Tachyon is engineered to perform efficiently with contemporary climbing hardware, supporting smooth ascent, controlled descent and stable work positioning. The 11.5 mm diameter provides a secure grip while remaining fully compatible with devices designed for this rope size. This balance allows climbers to maintain control and efficiency throughout extended working periods in the canopy.

Firm Yet Flexible Rope Construction

The rope features a polyester cover paired with a polyamide inner core, creating a structure that is both firm and flexible. The outer cover ensures consistent handling without excessive softness, while the polyamide core helps maintain a stable diameter under load. With a weight of 94 g per metre, it offers a dependable balance between durability and manageable handling.

Controlled Stretch and Reliable Performance

Tachyon delivers low stretch at lower loads to minimise bounce while climbing, combined with increased stretch under higher loads to help reduce shock. This supports predictable rope behaviour during movement and positioning. Certified to EN 1891A and ANSI Z133-2012, it meets the requirements of professional arborist use where consistency and reliability are critical.
