Developed as a shorter and lighter alternative to the hipSTAR Glide, it provides a practical solution when a second lanyard is needed for positioning, redirects or anchoring. Built in a 10.5 mm diameter, it offers a defined handling profile for climbers who want consistent performance in daily tree care work. Designed to Complement Your Main Lanyard Used alongside a primary lanyard, the miniGLIDE integrates smoothly into existing climbing systems. It can function as an additional positioning lanyard, serve as a redirect, or be used as an anchor point depending on the setup. This versatility makes it a valuable tool when working in complex canopies where adaptability is essential. Certified for Professional Tree Care Use The miniGLIDE is certified to meet recognised international safety standards for both single-person and two-person load applications. For single-person use, it complies with EN 358 and EN 795B when used in a double strand configuration. For two-person scenarios, it is certified to AS/NZS 5532 and CEN/TS 16415, supporting confident use in professional tree care operations. Modular Construction with Defined Compatibility All components of the miniGLIDE are replaceable and manufactured by Teufelberger, supporting long-term maintenance and system longevity. The lanyard is certified for use with specific friction hitch configurations, offering predictable handling and performance. For safety reasons, the use of a prusikLOOP thimble is strictly prohibited with the miniGLIDE.
