The Stihl HLA 150 B Battery Long Reach Hedge Trimmer is a professional telescopic cordless hedge trimmer designed for maintaining tall and wide hedges, shrubs and bushes from ground level. With an adjustable working length of 207–332cm and a 145° adjustable cutter head, it can reach hedges over 4 metres high while providing the flexibility required for professional landscaping, garden maintenance, road maintenance and local authority work.

Telescopic reach for tall hedges

The tool-free telescopic shaft extends from 207cm to 332cm, allowing high hedges and difficult-to-reach areas to be maintained from the ground. The 60cm/24" double-sided cutting blade can be adjusted through 145° for horizontal, vertical and angled cutting, while the cutter head folds flat to make transportation and storage easier.

Professional cutting performance

Powered by the STIHL AP-System, the HLA 150 B uses an efficient EC motor with three selectable blade speeds of 3,200, 3,600 and 4,000rpm. Laser-cut, diamond-ground, double-edged blades provide high cutting performance, while the anti-lock system reverses the blade movement when the trigger is released if the cutters become jammed. A tip protector helps protect the blades when cutting close to walls or the ground.

Designed for extended professional use

The ergonomic control handle allows blade speed to be adjusted without changing grip and can be used comfortably by left- or right-handed operators. CONSTANT POWER electronics maintain performance as the battery discharges, while lightweight magnesium components help reduce weight without compromising transmission durability. The HLA 150 B is also IPX4 rated for use in wet and rainy working conditions.

Battery and charger required

This model is supplied as a tool only without a battery or charger. The ALLPRO AP 300 P battery is recommended, providing an approximate working time of 107–133 minutes depending on use and operating conditions.
