The Stihl FS 70 C-E Petrol Brushcutter is a robust 0.9kW machine designed for mowing large areas of tough grass. Combining the STIHL 2-MIX engine with ErgoStart and an ergonomic bike handle, it provides the power, control and comfortable handling required for demanding grass cutting and clearing work.

The FS 70 C-E uses STIHL 2-MIX engine technology, which reduces fuel consumption by up to 20% and emissions by up to 70% compared with conventional two-stroke engines without 2-MIX technology. The engine complies with the EU Stage V emissions directive and provides efficient performance for regular cutting across larger areas.

STIHL ErgoStart for easier starting

STIHL ErgoStart reduces the effort required to start the brushcutter. A smooth, steady pull of the starter cord is sufficient, with an additional spring between the crankshaft and starter cord mechanism supporting reliable starting at a lower pulling speed. A manual fuel pump further reduces the number of starting strokes required, particularly after longer periods between use.

Bike handle for large-area mowing

The ergonomic bike handle supports the natural sweeping movement used when clearing larger areas and can be adjusted and secured to suit the operator. A single-handed multi-function handle places the main controls within easy reach and can be operated by both right- and left-handed users. The stop button automatically returns to the operating position after use for straightforward restarting.

Supplied ready for different cutting tasks

The FS 70 C-E is supplied with an AutoCut C 26-2 mowing head and GrassCut 230-2 metal blade, providing cutting options for different vegetation and working conditions. An ADVANCE universal harness is also included to support the machine during use.
