Stein SR-RingSling Canopy Anchor

The Stein SR-RingSling is a purpose-built canopy anchor designed to support modern SRT and SRS climbing systems. From the first installation, it allows arborists to create a reliable anchor point either from the ground or directly within the canopy. As a result, climbers gain flexibility when setting up access lines while maintaining control and efficiency throughout the climb.

Flexible anchoring for modern climbing systems

This canopy anchor device is well suited to a wide range of climbing approaches. It can be installed and retrieved from the ground when required, which is particularly useful during initial access. Alternatively, it can be positioned mid-line in the canopy to adapt to the structure of the tree and the demands of the job. This adaptability supports both planned climbs and evolving work positions.

Engineered for smooth rope management

The Stein SR-RingSling is fitted with two aluminium rings, one larger and one smaller, shaped to encourage smooth rope movement under load. This design helps limit friction during ascent, descent, and work positioning. By promoting cleaner rope travel, it also contributes to reduced wear on the climbing line and minimises unnecessary abrasion against the tree.

Durable construction for professional use

Manufactured in the UK, the device combines aviation-grade aluminium rings with robust, double-layer polyamide webbing. This construction is intended to withstand regular professional use while maintaining consistent performance. With a minimum breaking strength of 25 kN, it offers confidence when used as part of a compliant climbing system, provided it is installed and inspected correctly.
