The Stein Skylaunch Catapult Kit is a purpose-built system designed to deploy a throw weight and throw line accurately over high tree limbs, allowing arborists to position friction savers or climbing lines efficiently from the ground. Developed for professional tree care, the Skylaunch system delivers controlled, repeatable performance for access line installation in demanding environments.

Designed for accurate high-reach line deployment

The Skylaunch system is engineered to achieve significant vertical deployment heights with precision. When mounted on three 76 cm fibreglass poles, the system can reach vertical distances of over 30 metres, making it well suited for tall canopies and complex tree structures. Even greater height can be achieved when mounted on two 120 cm poles, depending on the throw line and throw weight used, offering flexibility across different job requirements.

Compatibility with professional fibreglass pole systems

The Skylaunch head is designed to fit quick-connect fibreglass poles from leading manufacturers, including Stein, Jameson, Marvin, and Notch. This compatibility allows the system to integrate easily into existing arborist equipment setups, reducing the need for dedicated poles while maintaining secure and stable operation during deployment.

Complete kit for immediate field use

This kit is supplied as a complete system, providing all essential components required to begin work straight away. It includes the Skylaunch head along with 2 of the Stein 76cm fiberglass mid pole c/w male & female connectors and 1 of the Stein 76cm fiberglass base pole c/w male connector. The modular pole design allows fast setup and breakdown, supporting efficient movement between work sites while maintaining reliable performance during use.
