Certified front-leg protection for professional chainsaw use

The Sentinel Type A trousers provide Design A chainsaw protection, covering the front of the legs where contact risk is highest during typical chainsaw operation. They are rated to Class 1 with protection up to 20 m/s and are certified to EN ISO 11393-2:2019. Compliance with EN ISO 13688:2013+A1:2021 further confirms suitability for professional protective clothing, supporting safe and practical use in forestry and arboricultural work.

Flexible construction with reinforced protection zones

An abrasion resistant multi-directional stretch base fabric is combined with European lightweight technical blocking materials to support freedom of movement and wearer comfort. The fabric composition of 89 percent polyester and 11 percent elastane allows the trousers to move naturally during climbing, walking, and ground work. Stress-zone areas use reinforced multi-directional materials with strengthened stitching for durability. ArmortexKFM waterproof, tear-resistant Kevlar polyamide is used across the knees and greaves, while the outer hem features all-round ArmortexKFM protection with Climber-Guard shaping to resist wear in high-contact areas.

Comfort and ventilation for long working days

The roomy tailored leg promotes effective air circulation, helping maintain a more comfortable internal environment during warm conditions or sustained physical effort. Large rear ventilation zips allow additional airflow when required. Pre-formed knees support a natural working posture, reducing restriction when kneeling or bending. Practical features include two downward-closing zipped side pockets, a large zipped rear pocket, and a press-stud pocket on the left leg. A wide waistband with button fastening, reinforced belt loops, and a Tri-Loop brace system support secure fit, while an elasticated inner-hem lace hook helps retain the trousers over footwear and reduce sawdust ingress.
