Stein Bungee Tool Strop / Lanyard

The Stein Bungee Tool Strop / Lanyard is designed to help keep hand tools securely attached while working at height. Used during climbing or ground-based arborist work, it supports controlled tool management by allowing tools to hang correctly when not in use. This helps reduce the risk of dropped equipment while improving handling and efficiency during everyday site tasks.

Controlled tool retention during work at height

This tool strop is designed to support secure attachment of hand tools during active work. One half-twist loop is intended to choke directly onto a tool attachment point, while the second loop connects to a karabiner or harness. This configuration helps maintain consistent positioning of tools, allowing them to remain accessible without interfering with movement or balance during climbing or ground operations.

Bungee extension for flexibility and reach

An integrated bungee section allows the strop to extend by 47 percent, providing additional reach when tools are in use while still maintaining restraint. The extended working length ranges from 95 cm to 140 cm, supporting flexibility without excessive slack. This controlled extension helps reduce strain during tool use while keeping equipment safely tethered throughout the task.

Durable construction for regular site conditions

The strop is manufactured using 25 mm treated webbing designed to resist water, oil, and grease commonly encountered on site. A large steel ring sits between the stitched sections, allowing the lanyard to hang neatly from an approved harness point. Each strop is individually marked with a serial number, date of manufacture, and safe working load, supporting traceability during professional use. It has a safe working load of 20 kg with a safety factor of 7:1 and is not intended for use as personal protective equipment.
