Developed to reduce the weight and rigidity often associated with high-protection chainsaw footwear, the Silvretta provides a practical balance of safety, flexibility, waterproofing and comfort for long working days.

Class 3 Chainsaw Protection

The Nanoshield Silvretta boots are certified to EN ISO 17249:2013 Class 3, providing chainsaw protection rated to a chain speed of 28m/s. They also meet EN ISO 20345:2022 S7S, HRO, HI, CI, AN, FO, CR, LG, SC, SR and ESD requirements, covering a range of protective properties for demanding professional environments.

Lightweight Construction

Weighing approximately 1,050g per boot in EU size 42, the Silvretta is designed to minimise unnecessary weight without compromising its Class 3 chainsaw protection.

The lightweight EVA sole construction helps reduce overall boot weight compared with traditional sole designs, while the high-grip rubber outsole provides traction across uneven, wet and challenging terrain.

Waterproof Nanoshield Technology

The boots feature a permanently waterproof membrane directly laminated to the upper. Combined with Pfanner's Nanoshield technology and a two-layer lining with 3D fabric, the construction helps manage moisture and humidity inside the boot during physically demanding work.

The upper is manufactured from 2.4–2.6mm split suede leather, providing a robust exterior suited to regular forestry and arborist use.

Grip and Protection for Demanding Terrain

The EVA sole and high-grip rubber outsole are designed for reliable footing in challenging working conditions. The sole is heat, oil and fuel resistant, incorporates antistatic and ESD properties, and offers partial crampon compatibility for appropriate applications.
