Its wide opening allows it to be attached easily to a broad range of equipment, including pulleys and lanyards, making it a versatile connector within climbing and hauling setups. By allowing components to rotate freely, it helps maintain system alignment and supports smoother, more efficient movement during work at height. Reliable rotation for rope and lanyard systems This gated swivel is built to address common issues caused by rope twist and system tangling. During hauling operations, it allows the load to rotate independently, reducing kinking in the rope and helping maintain consistent handling. When used with lanyards, it supports cleaner progression by preventing unwanted twisting, which simplifies positioning and reduces interruptions while working in the canopy or on structures. Wide opening for flexible system integration The Swivel Open features a large gate opening that enables direct attachment to a wide variety of products. This flexibility allows it to be incorporated into different system configurations without adding unnecessary connectors. By reducing component count, it helps minimise overall bulk and weight, supporting more streamlined setups that are easier to manage during prolonged professional use. Sealed ball bearings for consistent performance Sealed ball bearings inside the swivel deliver smooth rotation with high reliability. The maintenance-free design supports long-term use in demanding environments where dirt, moisture, and regular loading are expected. With a breaking strength of 23 kN and a weight of 130 g, the swivel balances strength and durability with manageable weight for everyday professional climbing and rigging tasks.
