The Petzl Sequoia SRT Climbing Harness is a tree care seat harness developed specifically for single rope ascent techniques used in modern arboriculture. It is designed to support efficient vertical progression while maintaining comfort, stability, and precise work positioning during extended periods in the canopy. The harness integrates smoothly with recognised Petzl climbing systems, making it well suited to professional arborists who rely on controlled movement and reliable attachment points.

Designed for single rope ascent systems

This harness features a ventral attachment point that allows the installation of a ZIGZAG or ZIGZAG PLUS mechanical Prusik when used with compatible CHICANE and KNEE ASCENT accessories. A rear buckle enables the fitting of a CROLL ventral rope clamp when used with SECUR shoulder straps, supporting efficient rope ascents. The attachment bridge provides lateral mobility, allowing natural movement around the tree while maintaining consistent rope alignment.

Comfort-focused construction for professional use

The Sequoia SRT is built around a semi-rigid, extra-wide waistbelt and leg loops that provide excellent support during work positioning and suspension. These areas are sculpted and lined with foam padding to improve comfort during prolonged use. Mobile side attachment points allow the lanyard to follow the arborist’s movement during lateral work, while the textile bridge at the ventral attachment point improves comfort when walking on the ground.

Secure adjustment and organised tool management

Adjustment is quick and reliable thanks to DOUBLEBACK PLUS self-locking buckles on the waistbelt and FAST LT PLUS buckles on the leg loops, allowing easy fastening and unfastening even while wearing gloves. Additional DOUBLEBACK buckles enable precise adjustment of attachment bridge height. Tool organisation is supported by nine pre-shaped equipment loops with protective sheath, five slots for tool holders, retainers for saw attachment, and an elastic band for securing a first aid kit.
