The Petzl Sequoia Climbing Harness is a tree care seat harness designed specifically for doubled-rope ascent techniques. Built with arborist comfort and efficiency in mind, it combines a supportive structure with practical adjustment and organisation features, making it well suited to long periods of positioning, movement, and suspension during professional tree work.

Comfort-focused design for prolonged suspension

The harness features a semi-rigid, extra-wide waistbelt and leg loops that provide excellent support during work positioning. Both areas are sculpted and lined with foam padding to improve comfort when suspended for extended periods. An attachment bridge provides lateral mobility, while mobile side attachment points allow the harness to follow the orientation of the lanyard during sideways movement, supporting natural positioning in the canopy.

Secure and efficient adjustment system

The waistbelt is equipped with a FAST buckle that allows quick fastening and unfastening without loss of adjustment, even when wearing gloves. Leg loops use FAST LT PLUS buckles with an integrated locking system that limits the risk of accidental opening. DOUBLEBACK buckles allow precise adjustment of the attachment bridge height, helping the user achieve a comfortable and efficient working position, with plastic covers supporting secure locking.

Tool organisation and attachment versatility 

Two gated attachment points allow easy connection of ZILLON or MICROFLIP lanyards, or installation of multiple attachment bridges and accessories directly on the bridge. The Sequoia harness supports organised tool carrying with nine pre-shaped equipment loops fitted with protective sheaths, five slots for CARITOOL tool holders, two retainers for chainsaws or handsaws, and an elastic band for attaching a first aid kit. A seat can also be added to improve comfort during prolonged suspension.
