The Petzl ROLLCLIP Z Pulley Triact 3 Way Carabiner is a compact pulley–connector designed to simplify anchor and device installations in professional rope systems. By combining a pulley and carabiner into a single unit, it reduces system bulk while supporting smooth rope handling. The gate opens on the non-pulley side, allowing the pulley to be clipped directly into anchors or devices without interfering with rope alignment, making it well suited to arborist, rope access, and hauling applications.

Integrated pulley for efficient rope movement

The ROLLCLIP Z features a pulley sheave mounted on sealed ball bearings, supporting smooth and consistent rope travel under load. With an efficiency of 85 percent, it helps reduce friction in hauling or redirection systems. The 18 mm sheave diameter supports ropes from 7 to 13 mm, allowing compatibility with a wide range of professional low-stretch and climbing ropes used in work positioning and access systems.

Practical handling and clean installation

A key design feature of the ROLLCLIP Z is the gate opening positioned on the non-pulley side of the carabiner. This layout allows the pulley to be installed on anchors or devices without needing to thread the rope through the connector, supporting faster and more controlled setup. The Keylock nose design helps prevent snagging on ropes, slings, or hardware during installation and removal, supporting clean system management.

Lightweight strength with secure locking options

Manufactured from aluminium with an H-shaped cross-section, the carabiner body balances strength and reduced weight while helping protect markings from abrasion. This TRIACT-LOCK version uses an automatic three-action locking gate to reduce the risk of accidental opening during use. The connector offers a major axis strength of 20 kN and supports a maximum working load of 4 kN in pulley use, making it suitable for professional hauling and redirection tasks.
