Built for attachment to a locking carabiner, it offers a simple and efficient way to improve system handling without adding unnecessary bulk. Its lightweight, gated design makes it well suited to arborist setups where clean organisation and predictable behaviour under load are essential. Controlled rotation for improved system alignment The Micro Swivel is designed without bearings, allowing it to rotate freely when not under load and to stop rotating once loaded. This behaviour helps prevent unwanted movement in the system, keeping attached devices correctly aligned during work positioning or movement. By limiting rotation under load, the swivel supports stable device orientation while still reducing rope and lanyard twist during transitions. Optimised for attachment to locking carabiners An integrated attachment point is designed specifically for use with a locking carabiner. A flexible positioning ring helps keep the carabiner oriented along its major axis, supporting correct loading and consistent handling. The wide, openable design also allows for semi-permanent installation on a lanyard or device, making setup straightforward and secure for professional use. Compact design for reduced bulk and weight With a weight of just 75 g, the Micro Swivel helps reduce overall system weight while maintaining a breaking strength of 23 kN. Its compact, gated construction keeps component systems tidy and manageable, supporting efficient movement and easier organisation on the harness during tree care and rope access tasks.
