Developed for professional users who rely on their helmets daily, this foam insert helps extend helmet service life by allowing worn or degraded padding to be replaced easily, maintaining comfort and hygiene during regular use. Replaceable comfort foam to extend helmet lifespan This comfort foam installs directly onto the helmet headband, providing a straightforward way to refresh the internal padding without replacing the entire helmet. By restoring the contact surface between the helmet and the head, it helps maintain correct fit and stability during work at height or on the ground. Regular replacement can improve long-term comfort and support consistent helmet performance across extended working periods. Two foam options for different working preferences The Petzl Comfort Foam is available in two versions to suit different user needs and working conditions. The standard closed-cell foam does not absorb moisture or perspiration, making it easy to clean and well suited to environments where helmets are exposed to rain or humidity. The absorbent open-cell foam version is designed to absorb perspiration, improving comfort during prolonged wear, and can be machine washed for easier maintenance. Compatibility and lightweight construction This comfort foam is compatible with Petzl VERTEX and STRATO helmets manufactured from 2019 onwards. Its lightweight polyethylene construction adds minimal bulk to the helmet, weighing just 15 g, helping preserve overall balance and comfort. Designed specifically for Petzl helmet systems, it integrates cleanly with the existing headband structure for secure and reliable installation.
