ISC Reflex Mechanical Hitch

The ISC Reflex Mechanical Hitch is a mid-line attachable device designed to provide precise and consistent friction control in both MRT and SRT systems. By eliminating the need to pull full rope lengths through the device, the Reflex simplifies installation and changeovers, making canopy movement more efficient and adaptable.

Mid-line attachable design for efficient installation

The Reflex features a safety-lock swing frame and L-shaped links, allowing the rope to be inserted and helically wound into the device rather than threaded through. A top latch keeps the rope securely captivated during use. Mid-line attachment enables quick installation or removal at any point during the climb, even when ropes have bulky termination labels.

Consistent friction control in MRT and SRT

The link system delivers gradual, controlled friction release without requiring additional friction hardware. The Reflex can be used in SRT without a Wrench and Tether, offering a compact and simplified setup. For those who prefer additional friction, it is compatible with an APEX and FLEX Tether via dedicated attachment apertures. The 200 kg rated rescue load allows rescue operations without building in extra friction.

Removable swivel with versatile connection options

The removable swivel-eye can be detached through a deliberate sequence of actions, allowing quick disconnection without dismantling the entire climbing system. The swivel accommodates two karabiners or up to two bridge ropes for a compact configuration. The device also supports self-tending, low-friction ascent with multiple towing positions.
