Suitable for ropes up to 21 mm in diameter, it helps protect branch bark while allowing smoother rope movement during climbing and rigging tasks. This accessory is intended for branch protection only and is not an anchor point. Protects branches during climbing and rigging Using the same principle as the FTC Rope Sleeve, the Rope Tube creates a protective barrier between the rope and the branch, helping minimise bark abrasion during repeated rope movement. Designed for larger diameter ropes, it is suitable for both climbing and rigging applications where protecting the tree and reducing rope friction are important. The protective sleeve supports good arboricultural practice while allowing ropes to move more efficiently over anchor points. Durable construction for professional use Manufactured from spiral steel with a hard-wearing PVC coating, the Rope Tube combines flexibility with durability for repeated professional use. Measuring 70 cm in length, it accommodates ropes up to 21 mm in diameter while remaining easy to position around suitable anchor points. The rope can be inserted or removed through the splice, allowing quick installation without dismantling the climbing or rigging system. Simple deployment for everyday tree work Compact and lightweight, the Rope Tube is straightforward to transport and deploy as part of a professional arborist kit. Its flexible construction allows it to conform naturally around branches while maintaining effective protection throughout the operation. Suitable for a wide variety of climbing and rigging systems using larger ropes, it offers a practical solution for reducing branch wear without complicating rope setup.
