The FTC Locki & Sigyn Accessory Carabiners are designed as practical, high performance accessories for arborists who need fast, reliable connections during everyday work. They are accessory carabiners only and are not classed as PPE.

Both the Locki and Sigyn carabiners are designed for smooth, instinctive handling, even when used one handed or while wearing gloves. Their optimised size, asymmetrical shape, and large gate openings support quick connections and disconnections during frequent tasks. They are well suited for organising equipment, fastening tools to a harness, assembling throw bags, or linking a chest harness to a foot loop.

Locking Systems and Functional Differences

The Locki features an innovative quarter turn locking system that allows the gate to be locked or unlocked with a simple twist, helping protect against accidental opening during use. The Sigyn uses a standard gate design for fast and effortless operation, making it ideal where frequent clipping and unclipping is required. This combination offers flexibility depending on the task at hand.

Construction, Strength, and Durability

Manufactured from high quality materials, the carabiners are designed to resist shocks and wear for long service life in demanding environments. Made from 7075 T6 aluminium, the Locki measures 64 x 42 x 12 mm with a 14.5 mm opening, while the Sigyn measures 64 x 40 x 8 mm with a 16 mm opening. Both are rated to hold loads up to 5 kN, combining strength with a lightweight design of approximately 15 g for the Locki and 13 g for the Sigyn.
