The Edelrid Treerex II Sit Climbing Harness is a highly versatile tree-care harness designed for professional arborists who require advanced adjustability, comfort, and system flexibility. Developed to support a wide range of climbing techniques, it offers multiple rope bridge configurations and includes an SRT bridge to enhance safety and comfort when working on single rope systems. The harness is engineered to support efficient positioning and sustained use during demanding tree work.

Advanced comfort and load distribution

The Treerex II is built around Edelrid’s 3D Vent technology, which uses three-dimensional moulding to deliver extensive force distribution and a high level of breathability. This design supports unsurpassed hanging comfort during prolonged suspension while helping manage heat and moisture. Wide, semi-rigid padding contributes to stable support without compromising flexibility, making the harness suitable for extended working days in the canopy.

Flexible rope bridge and positioning options

The harness is supplied pre-fitted with an adjustable rope bridge mounted in the lateral fastening eyelets, along with an aluminium connection ring. Two colour-coded rope bridges and one anchor ring provide a high degree of lateral freedom of movement. Lateral fastening eyelets in the leg loops allow the installation of up to two rope bridges or use for workplace stabilisation, and their angle can be adjusted under load using a smart adjustment mechanism to maintain an optimal working position.

Professional features and safety-focused design

All load-bearing straps are equipped with indicator tape, with red fibres becoming visible in the event of damage to signal when replacement is required. Double Lock buckles on the waist belt and leg loops allow the harness to be easily put on and taken off. Leg loop straps include Dyneema abrasion protectors, while four large gear loops, numerous attachment points for gear carabiners, and an integrated chainsaw suspension device support organised work. The harness also includes an integrated NFC chip, a hip belt bungee-tool, an SRT bridge, and a first aid bag, and is certified to EN 358, EN 813, ANSI Z133, EN 361 when used with Vector Chest X or Y, and ASTM F887-20.
