Designed for practical everyday use, this knife focuses on controlled handling, durability, and safe operation when working on the ground or at height. Its construction and features support dependable access to a cutting tool as part of a professional equipment setup. Functional Use and One-Handed Operation This knife is designed for single-hand operation, allowing efficient use when the other hand is occupied during work. The sharp blade features a locking mechanism that helps keep it securely open during cutting tasks, supporting controlled and confident use. A partly serrated edge increases versatility, making the knife suitable for cutting rope and other fibrous materials commonly encountered in arborist and outdoor environments. Materials and Blade Construction The Edelrid Rope Tooth Hand Knife is manufactured using high-quality stainless steel for the blade, supporting durability and resistance to wear during repeated use. Stainless steel construction helps maintain cutting performance over time while remaining suitable for outdoor conditions. The handle incorporates ABS material, contributing to a robust yet lightweight design that supports practical handling without unnecessary bulk. Carry Options and Practical Integration A large swivel hole is integrated into the knife, allowing it to be attached to a harness or backpack using a carabiner. This supports secure storage and quick access while working. The swivel design helps the knife hang naturally when clipped, reducing interference with other equipment.
