The DMM Tryggr Thimble Vario is an adjustable, retrievable anchor designed for moving and stationary rope anchor applications. Its adjustable Vario system allows the anchor length to be fine-tuned for accurate positioning across a wide range of anchor points, while supporting remote installation and efficient retrieval from the ground.

Adjustable for different anchor configurations

The Vario system allows quick and precise length adjustment to suit varying anchor sizes and configurations. Multiple wraps can be used to increase friction where required, helping provide stable positioning. The high-visibility contrasting design makes the system easy to identify against climbing lines, with the 6.5mm Fidus cord clearly indicating the retrieval end.

Durable low-friction construction

The Tryggr Thimble Vario combines durable polyester rope with a double-core construction for increased protection and bespoke 6.5mm polyester cord designed for consistent performance in harsh and high-UV environments. DMM stainless steel thimbles provide a low-friction rope interface and isolate load-bearing cordage from friction, while resin-coated stitching provides additional abrasion resistance. A stopper at the end limits movement of the Prusik loop.

Certified and retrievable anchor system

The DMM Tryggr Thimble Vario is certified in a basket configuration to EN 795:2012 Type B and as an anchor assembly for two-person rescue loads to PD CEN/TS 16415:2013. It is available in multiple lengths and is designed for professional applications where adjustable positioning, remote installation and ground-based retrieval are required.
