The DMM Tryggr Thimble is a compact, retrievable choking anchor designed for stationary rope systems and professional work positioning on vertical stems. Its flexible construction and compact size allow it to accommodate a wide range of anchor points, while the system can be remotely installed and retrieved from the ground after use.

Retrievable anchor for stationary rope systems

The Tryggr Thimble is designed to provide a practical choking anchor that can be recovered without returning to the anchor point. Retrieval can be carried out using a rope pull or the included DMM retrieval cone. Its compact construction allows use across a wide range of anchor sizes, while the flexible design conforms to the anchor structure during installation.

Low-friction thimble construction

Bespoke 6.5mm durable polyester cord is combined with DMM stainless steel thimbles to provide a low-friction rope interface and isolate the cord from rope-on-cord friction. The cord can equalise through the thimbles, while resin-coated stitching provides additional abrasion resistance. Laser-marked hardware provides durable identification and includes a retrieval indicator.

Certified for anchoring and rescue

The DMM Tryggr Thimble is certified in a basket configuration to EN 795:2012 Type B. It is also certified as an anchor assembly for two-person rescue loads to PD CEN/TS 16415:2013, supporting professional work positioning, stationary rope systems and rescue applications.
