The DMM Tendon is a streamlined solution for lifting knee ascenders, designed to improve efficiency and consistency during rope ascent. By integrating a long length of high performance shock cord around the waist, it delivers smooth and balanced tension throughout movement. The system retracts neatly when not in use, keeping the setup clean and unobtrusive on the harness.

Consistent Tension for Efficient Ascending

The Tendon routes elastic shock cord around the full circumference of the user’s waist, creating a greater elongation range compared to traditional systems. This design provides more consistent tension as the cord stretches, improving the lifting action of the knee ascender and supporting smoother, more efficient upward movement.

Durable Design for Long-Term Performance

The system features a smooth and flared tube inlet to reduce friction and wear on the elastic. Combined with a dyneema mantle on the shock cord, this helps improve durability while maintaining reliable performance over time. These design elements work together to enhance efficiency and extend the lifespan of the system in demanding use.

Secure Integration and Flexible Connection Options

The Tendon Tube Clips are designed to interface with attachment points on compatible harnesses, including Kinisi models. The included XSRE Swivel Carabiner with 11 mm eye provides a secure and compact connection to the knee ascender. Both ends of the elastic can be used for connection, allowing increased lifting power and improved system alignment when required.
