Anti cross loading design for controlled systems

The defining horn feature on the leading edge of the spine significantly reduces the chance of cross loading by restricting unwanted rotation of devices and pulleys. Assisted braking devices and rope controllers are prevented from twisting around the spine, helping the carabiner maintain correct alignment under load. A flat base supports stable positioning in the belay loop, working together with the horn to encourage optimal loading throughout use.

HMS shape for rigging and belay versatility

The HMS pear shape provides generous internal space, allowing devices and connectors to self-centre in a similar way to oval connectors. The extended basket accommodates multiple components and supports smooth movement of knots such as an Italian hitch when taking in or paying out rope. Slightly oversized proportions make the Rhino comfortable to handle with gloves and suitable for use with larger diameter ropes in demanding working environments.
