Efficient performance in moving rope systems The Pinto 2 is fitted with sealed ball bearings that significantly improve efficiency compared to earlier designs, supporting smoother rope movement during ascent, descent, and repositioning. This allows climbers to manage friction more effectively and maintain consistent control when the pulley is used within moving rope configurations. The pulley is designed to accept ropes up to 14 mm in diameter, making it suitable for a wide range of climbing lines commonly used in arboriculture. Textile friendly and compact design Hot forged construction combined with carefully finished edges helps protect ropes and textile connectors during use. The recessed sheave design creates a smooth rope channel, ensuring the line feeds cleanly from all angles and remains correctly seated on the sheave, even when loaded off-axis.
