The DMM PerfectO Locksafe 3 Way Carabiner is a compact true oval connector designed to minimise eye to eye length while retaining excellent usability in professional climbing and work positioning systems. Its balanced oval shape promotes effective load centring, making it well suited to applications where predictable orientation and smooth handling are important. Despite its small size, the PerfectO remains robust and easy to operate one handed, supporting efficient system setup and adjustment.

True oval shape for balanced load centring

The symmetrical oval profile allows loads to naturally centre within the basket, helping reduce uneven loading when multiple components are attached. This makes the PerfectO particularly effective in systems involving pulleys, slings, or multiple connectors. Fully rounded rope bearing areas help reduce wear, supporting increased longevity of both the carabiner and connected ropes during repeated use.

Compact construction with reduced system length

The PerfectO is the smallest Locksafe gated carabiner produced by DMM and is 15 mm shorter than an Ultra O while maintaining strong performance. With dimensions of 95 x 56 mm and a weight of approximately 68 g, it provides a compact solution where reduced system length is beneficial. I Beam construction is used only in non rope bearing areas, allowing strength to be maintained without unnecessary material.

Locksafe gate with snag free handling

The 3 Way Locksafe gate requires three distinct actions to open, helping reduce the risk of accidental opening during professional use. A 15 mm gate opening supports controlled clipping, while the keylock nose design allows smooth, snag free operation when connecting or removing the carabiner. The PerfectO offers a major axis strength of 24 kN, with 7 kN strength on both the minor axis and with the gate open, and conforms to EN 12275:2013 and EN 362:2004 standards.
