DMM Mini Swivel

The DMM Mini Swivel is a compact torsion management component designed for professional arborist and rigging systems where minimal length and clean load paths are critical. Built to reduce unwanted twisting between connected components, it allows smooth rotation under load while maintaining a very short overall profile. This makes it particularly suitable for systems where space efficiency, predictable alignment, and controlled movement are essential during daily work at height.

Compact design for space-critical systems

The Mini Swivel is engineered specifically for scenarios where system length must be kept to a minimum. Measuring just 66 x 31.5 x 21.5 mm and weighing 48 g, it fits neatly between connectors, textile elements, or combinations of both without adding unnecessary bulk. This compact form factor supports organised setups on harness bridges, lanyards, or rigging connections where excess length could interfere with movement or positioning.

Smooth rotational performance under load

CNC machined aluminium components are combined with high quality roller thrust bearings to deliver smooth, reliable rotation during use. This design helps manage torsion build-up and reduces twisting in ropes or webbing, supporting consistent system behaviour. A user maintainable grease port allows the bearings to be serviced, helping extend working life and maintain efficiency during regular professional use.

Durable construction with flexible integration

The Mini Swivel uses double locking, high tensile stainless steel axles to provide durability and resistance to loosening under load. The textile-friendly design supports direct use with ropes, slings, and webbing without unnecessary abrasion. Both eyes can be clipped, spliced, or swaged in as required, allowing flexible integration into existing systems. With a minimum breaking strength of 26 kN and a working load limit of 3 kN, it supports controlled rotation in a wide range of arborist and rigging applications.
