The DMM Fidus 8.5mm Loop is a certified sewn loop rope tool made from bespoke 8.5mm polyester cord. The 8.5mm diameter provides improved precision and a different handling feel compared with larger diameter rope tools. The Fidus Loop can be used in straight, basket and choked configurations, providing versatility across positioning, anchoring and midline attachment applications.

Manufactured from bespoke 8.5mm durable polyester cord, the Fidus is designed to provide consistent performance over an extended lifespan, including in harsh and high-UV environments. Sewn loop construction with compact terminations keeps the rope tool neat and manageable, while contrasting colours help differentiate it from main lines, lanyards and the 10mm Fidus range.

Certified for positioning and rescue

The DMM Fidus 8.5mm Loop is certified in straight, basket and choked configurations to EN 795:2012 Type B. It is also certified as an anchor assembly for two-person rescue loads to PD CEN/TS 16415:2013, supporting professional use across positioning, anchoring and rescue systems.
