The DMM Fidus 6.5mm Retrieval Loop is a compact, certified rope tool designed to provide a clean, retrievable attachment point for professional work at height. Made from bespoke 6.5mm polyester cord and measuring 31cm in length, it features DMM stainless steel thimbles and is designed for midline anchoring, positioning and retrieval applications.

Compact and retrievable attachment point

The 6.5mm diameter and 31cm length provide a compact, low-bulk solution for streamlined rope systems. Its retrievable design supports smooth recovery after use, while the absence of a stopper simplifies the configuration and assists retrieval. Contrasting colours also help distinguish the Fidus from main lines and lanyards within the system.

Polyester cord with stainless steel thimbles

The Fidus Retrieval Loop uses bespoke 6.5mm durable polyester cord designed to provide consistent performance over an extended lifespan, including in harsh and high-UV environments. Bespoke DMM stainless steel thimbles provide a low-friction rope interface and isolate the load-bearing cordage from friction, while the sewn eye termination uses compact stitch patterns.

Certified for anchoring and rescue

The DMM Fidus 6.5mm Retrieval Loop is certified in a basket configuration to EN 795:2012 Type B. It is also certified as an anchor assembly for two-person rescue loads to PD CEN/TS 16415:2013, supporting professional anchoring, positioning and rescue applications.
