The DMM Compact Shackle Titanium is a lightweight, high strength connector developed to complement the DMM compact swivel range while offering a secure, space-saving link within professional arborist and rigging systems. Designed to create a smooth, semi-fixed connection, it helps manage load direction predictably while remaining compact enough for confined or organised setups. Its tamper-resistant construction supports reliable use where secure attachment and clean system layout are required.

Secure semi-fixed connection with tamper resistance

The compact shackle uses a double Allen key locking axle to form a smooth, multi-directional semi-fixed link. This locking system helps prevent unintended loosening while allowing controlled articulation under load. Requiring both 4 mm and 2 mm Allen keys, the axle provides an added level of security, making the shackle well suited to professional environments where equipment integrity and consistency are critical during daily use.

Lightweight construction with high strength performance

Hot forged aluminium construction keeps overall weight low while maintaining a minimum breaking strength of 26 kN across both shackle sizes. The compact dimensions help reduce bulk within a system, supporting efficient equipment organisation without compromising strength. The titanium finish offers durability and resistance to wear, making the shackle suitable for repeated use in demanding outdoor conditions.

Textile-friendly design with size options

The Compact Shackle is designed to be textile-friendly, supporting use alongside ropes, slings, and webbing without unnecessary abrasion. Two size options are available to suit different configurations. The small D-shaped shackle measures 39 x 35 x 15 mm and weighs 28 g, providing neat, predictable alignment for single attachments. The larger bow-shaped shackle measures 44 x 48 x 15 mm and weighs 35 g, allowing greater flexibility when managing multiple load paths within a system.
