The Courant Phoenix Pink Dragon 8mm Eye to Eye is a 70cm friction cord developed specifically for creating self-locking friction hitches. This Pink Dragon edition combines the established Phoenix construction with a distinctive pink finish produced in support of the Pink Ladies association during Pink October.

Developed for self-locking friction hitches

The Phoenix has been designed specifically for forming self-locking knots. Its 8mm diameter and 70cm eye-to-eye configuration provide a compact friction cord suitable for professional climbing systems where a sewn eye-to-eye hitch cord is required.

Aramid and polyester blend sheath

An aramid/polyester blend sheath provides the combination of grip, abrasion resistance and resistance to heat required from a friction cord. The flexible construction supports effective handling when tying and adjusting friction hitches.

Compact sewn terminations

The Phoenix features compact sewn terminations designed to allow more compact self-locking knots. The termination design also helps prevent the connecting carabiner from slipping into the sewn loop, supporting a clean and controlled setup.

This special Pink Dragon version of the Courant Phoenix was created for Pink October, with purchases supporting the Pink Ladies association.
