Designed to perform reliably across multiple climbing systems, it combines controlled handling with long-term flexibility. This version is supplied with two spliced terminations, providing ready-to-use connection points at both ends for efficient setup and consistent performance in the canopy. Balanced 24-strand construction for modern climbing systems The Kalimba features a 24-strand construction that creates a consistently round rope with a balanced, confidence-inspiring grip. This structure supports smooth interaction with a wide range of commonly used descenders and climbing devices, helping maintain predictable control during ascent, descent, and work positioning. X-Braid core technology for efficiency and durability At the core of the rope is Courant’s X-Braid construction, engineered to provide long-lasting flexibility while maintaining low elongation under load. This helps reduce unwanted bounce during climbing, while ensuring consistent rope behaviour over time, even with repeated professional use. Versatile performance for SRT and DRS applications With an 11.9 mm diameter, the Kalimba offers a balanced combination of grip and device compatibility. It supports efficient use across both SRT and DRS climbing techniques, while the multicoloured Lollipop pattern improves visibility for better rope management on site.
