The Courant Flexbee Adjustable Lanyard Kit is a lightweight and flexible work positioning lanyard developed for professional arborists. Based on Courant's Squir rope construction, it combines an 11.5mm lanyard with a matched friction hitch, pulley system and Snapo connector to provide precise and reliable length adjustment while working in the canopy. Lightweight and flexible construction The Flexbee uses a 32-strand 11.5mm Squir rope with a polyester sheath and polyamide X-Braid core. Two compact sewn eyes provide the termination points, while the flexible rope construction supports comfortable handling and positioning during climbing operations. Precise friction hitch adjustment The adjustment system combines a matched hitch cord with Courant's pulley and carabiner system for controlled length adjustment. The system is certified with a Phoenix 8mm 70cm friction cord using either a 5-wrap Distel or 4+2 Valdotain knot. Practical modular design The Flexbee can be easily disassembled using a chainsaw wrench, simplifying access to the individual components when required. The adjustment side also allows the climber to use a connector of their choice, providing flexibility when configuring the lanyard within a climbing system. High-contrast visibility The Pink and Blue colour combination provides strong visual contrast, helping the lanyard remain clearly identifiable amongst other climbing equipment and ropes.
